We’re partnered with a leading UK healthcare organisation delivering life-changing services across 150+ sites. As part of a major digital transformation, they’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to build and shape a next-generation Snowflake data platform on Azure from the ground up.

The Opportunity
You’ll play a key role in designing and building a scalable, high-quality data platform, taking ownership of pipelines, data models, and engineering standards while collaborating across Data, BI, and Analytics teams.

Key Responsibilities
* Build and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Snowflake
* Design clean, well-structured datasets for analytics and reporting (Power BI)
* Ingest and transform data from multiple source systems
* Enhance and maintain a modern cloud data warehouse
* Drive improvements in data quality, governance, and documentation
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new data products
* Support and mentor junior team members
Your Profile:
* 6+ years’ experience in Data Engineering.
* Ideally, hands‑on experience with Snowflake (or an interest in learning Snowflake).
* Experience building pipelines in Azure (ADF preferred)
* Solid understanding of data warehousing & ETL/ELT
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
* Experience in regulated environments (e.g. healthcare, finance)
* Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and security
* Experience working in cross-functional data teams
