All About the Role
Based at our BCD Tubes Scunthorpe Site, we have a vacancy for a Warehouse Operative, the shift hours are Monday to Friday 6am-2pm, then Monday to Friday Nights 10pm-6am, then Monday to Friday 2pm-10pm
The purpose of this role is to ensure customers’ orders are fulfilled to the highest standards in a fast-paced environment. Specific tasks could include:
1. Pick computer generated orders with repetitive handling/lifting of heavy and large item
2. Accurately record stock movement and usage, along with product identification and use of measuring equipment.
3. Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and on your own.
4. Transferring stock to its location using a Forklift trucks
5. Assisting in the overall dispatch of customers’ orders.
6. Maintain high levels of Health and Safety.
7. Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements

Essential Skills for the role:
15. The successful candidate will have experience with Overhead Cranes
16. Have a flexible attitude, be results oriented, and enjoy working in a team environment.
17. Ideally have operated Fork-Lift or Side-loader.
18. Health & Safety awareness.
