We are now looking for a passionate, commercially minded Business Development Manager with a background in recruitment or the wider technology sales sector. Role Overview

As a Business Development Manager, you will lead on growing SF Technology Partners’ client base across the UK. You’ll be responsible for driving new business, nurturing long‑term relationships, and positioning the SF brand as a trusted, strategic partner for tech hiring.


You’ll work closely with consultants to create tailored solutions, impactful pitch decks, and compelling commercial propositions for clients at all stages of growth.


Key Responsibilities


Business Development & Sales

* Identify, engage, and secure new clients across technology sectors (SMEs, scale-ups, and FTSE 500 organisations).
* Develop and execute strategic business development plans to exceed revenue and growth targets.
* Lead high‑quality sales presentations and pitch meetings, using pitch decks to communicate value and unique propositions.
* Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals, contracts, and terms of business.


Client Relationship Management

* Build deep, consultative partnerships with clients to understand their long‑term tech talent strategies.
* Manage and strengthen relationships within PSL frameworks, ensuring SF Technology Partners delivers consistent value.
* Champion a proactive, insight‑led approach to client engagement.
1. Collaboration & Deliver

* Work closely with internal recruitment consultants and leadership to align business development efforts with delivery capabilities.
* Partner with the marketing team to develop outreach campaigns, sales collateral, and sector‑specific content.
* Contribute to internal strategy, growth initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.


Market Insight & Brand Positioning

* Monitor sector trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity to guide strategic decisions.
* Attend industry events, networking groups, and technology forums to elevate the SF Technology Partners brand.


About You


You will be a confident, high‑performing sales professional who thrives in a people‑first environment. A team player who wants their team to win!


We’re looking for someone with:

* Experience in recruitment business development or technology sales
* A genuine passion for people, relationships, and partnership building.
* Demonstrated ability to work with PSLs and large‑scale organisations, ideally including FTSE 500 companies.
* Strong commercial acumen and the ability to construct persuasive commercial proposals.
* Experience developing or presenting pitch decks and sales collateral.
* A consultative, solution‑led sales style aligned with long‑term value creation.
* Excellent communication skills, resilience, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced growth environment.
