Warehouse Operative
Location: Aylesbury
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team. This is a hands‑on, physical role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, has a good eye for detail, and enjoys working as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
* Picking and packing customer orders
* Palletising and securely packing bagged, boxed and loose materials and equipment
* Goods inwards inspection, receipt and put‑away
* Supporting the wider warehouse team as required, including picking and packing smaller orders during busy periods
* Maintaining a clean, organised and tidy warehouse environment
Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
* A good standard of written and spoken English and numeracy
* Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
* Basic computer skills, including experience using Microsoft products
* The ability to use a computerised ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365) and hand scanners
* A reliable, proactive and self‑motivated attitude
* Good teamwork skills and a willingness to learn
* Flexibility and pride in maintaining high standards of work
This is a manual role involving regular heavy lifting of up to 25kg, therefore a good level of physical fitness is essential.
A forklift licence would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided on‑site for the right candidate.
Salary
£26,900 per annum
Start Date
The position is available for an immediate start. However, candidates required to work a notice period may be asked to commence employment from late June onwards.
