HGV Driver / Loader

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced HGV Driver to join a busy team in Barnstaple, working with a well-respected waste and recycling services provider.
If you hold a Class 1 or Class 2 licence and are confident navigating residential areas, this could be a great opportunity for you.
The Role:
Operate curb-side refuse/recycling collection vehicles across the local area.
Load and assist with collections as required.
Work as part of a team delivering an essential public service.
Requirements:
Valid Class 1 or Class 2 HGV licence.
Up-to-date CPC qualification.
Good local knowledge of Barnstaple and surrounding areas.
Comfortable manoeuvring large vehicles in tight residential streets.
Previous experience in the waste or recycling sector (beneficial but not essential).
Pay & Benefits:
£13.69 per hour.
Full-time hours, Monday to Friday.
Ongoing temporary assignment with the possibility of extension.
On-site induction and training provided.
Weekly pay & online payslips.
28 days' paid annual leave (pro-rata for PAYE).
