Our busy finance team at Five Rivers Child Care is looking for an Accounts Assistant who is passionate about accuracy, organisation, and delivering excellent service. In this role, you'll play an essential part in ensuring foster carers are paid accurately and on time, supporting our mission to provide exceptional care across the UK. What You’ll Be Doing • Managing weekly and monthly foster carer payments through CHARMS Pay • Scanning, maintaining, and organising financial documentation with precision • Preparing and issuing annual earnings statements for foster carers • Producing weekly sales reports • Creating weekly sales invoices and credit notes • Handling queries from Local Authorities and foster carers with professionalism and a proactive approach • Processing and reconciling weekly and monthly petty cash returns • Ensuring accuracy of Pleo transactions • Assisting the wider finance team when needed • Contributing to the annual audit process Location : Salisbury Head Office (Blended: 3 days office / 2 days home) Hours : Full time, Mon–Thu 9:00–17:00, Fri 9:00–16:30 What You’ll Bring • AAT Level 2 or above (desirable) • Experience with Sage Intacct (desirable) • At least 2 years’ experience in an accounts or finance environment (preferred) • GCSEs (5) grade C or above, including Maths and English • Strong IT skills, especially Excel • Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability Working at Five Rivers you will receive: • 25 Days Holiday plus 8 bank holidays • Company Pension scheme • Simply Health Medical Cash Back Scheme • Employee Support Programmes • Blue Light Card Do not delay your application.
