AI Product Manager Job Description: We are seeking an AI Product Manager to lead the development of advanced AI and data-driven product features. As an AI Product Manager at Sage, you will be exposed to cutting-edge technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), Small Language Models (SLMs), and complex engineering challenges, driving their transformation into scalable products and services. This role sits at the forefront of AI and data-driven innovation, requiring strong technical expertise and a strategic mindset to effectively bridge the gap between business needs and engineering execution. - Please note that this role is hybrid and requires working 3 days a week from either Newcastle, Manchester or London office. Key Responsibilities: - Drive end-to-end product lifecycle for AI and data-driven external product features. - Partner with engineering / architecture teams to develop robust and scalable AI-driven solutions. - Interact with senior executives across the organisation to shape the evolution of AI products. - Articulate complex AI capabilities and value propositions to technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Define product roadmaps and ensure alignment with company goals and strategic priorities. - Work with compliance and security teams to ensure AI solutions meet regulatory standards. Requirements - Proven experience building and shipping complex AI / data-driven products. - Strong understanding of LLMs, SLMs, AI architectures, and modern data pipelines. - Familiarity with accounting, fintech, or financial systems is preferred. - Ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive alignment, and execute large-scale programs. - Experience with cloud-based AI/ML platforms and best practices for scaling AI-driven solutions. - Prior hands-on experience in an engineering role is preferred.
