We are looking for HGV class 1 driver to start immediately.
Hours : 12 hr shift Monday to Thursday
As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will:
1. Deliver goods as per manifest sheet.
2. Obtain customer signatures as proof of delivery.
3. Complete daily defect reporting of vehicles and trailers as required.
4. Communicate with Transport office staff and external customers.
5. To work as part of a team and be flexible to the needs of the business
6. Complete vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with DVSA regulations.
7. Comply with Health and Safety (SSOW) and other related legislation.
8. To participate in the businesss annual appraisal policy
9. Unload trailers in a safe and efficient manner taking in all aspects H&S.
10. Occasionally handballing maybe required in line with Manual Handling Guidelines
