Driver Hire Winchester is currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated Food Production Operative to join one of our well-established clients within the food industry.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role supporting warehouse and freezer operations. You'll play a key part in ensuring products are received, stored, packed, and dispatched efficiently-no two days are the same!
The Role:
* Working hours: 2:00pm - 8:30pm
* Monday to Friday (No weekend work)
* Ongoing contract, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate
Key Responsibilities:
* Follow warehouse and freezer procedures to ensure safe, efficient operations
* Maintain a clean and organised working environment
* Manage incoming and outgoing deliveries and collections
* Complete accurate goods-in and dispatch documentation
* Ensure correct stock rotation at all times
* Carry out bulk packing when required
* Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery
* Support the logistics team with driving duties when needed
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or food production environments
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
* Good organisational and time-management skills
* A team player who thrives in a busy environment
* A proactive, can-do attitude
* Full UK driving licence (held for 12+ months)
* No more than 6 penalty points (no major convictions)
