Cambridge Regional College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Lecturer in Maths to join our Service Industries, Business and Travel department on a part time basis for 3 days per week (22.5 hours). About the Role:
As a Maths Lecturer, you will:
* Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across a range of maths courses, including GCSE and Functional Skills.
* Work collaboratively within a diverse and dynamic department serving learners in Business, Travel and Tourism, and Service Industry pathways.
* Support students to develop core numeracy skills essential for both academic success and future careers.
* Contribute to curriculum planning, development, and continuous improvement of teaching and learning strategies.
* Inspire confidence, encourage progression, and ensure excellent learner outcomes.
What We're Looking For:
* A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
* A degree or relevant qualification in Mathematics or a related field.
* A passion for teaching and supporting students from a variety of backgrounds.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Experience teaching Maths in an FE or secondary setting is desirable, but not essential.
