We are looking for a Pastoral and Support Manager to lead a small team of Progress Tutors and a number of support interventions to improve student attendance, behaviour, retention and progression. Here’s the standard bit : You will lead a very strong team and play a pivotal role in implementing the careers strategy, design and deliver high quality careers activities across the college. You will be working closely with teaching and support staff to develop students’ careers and progression. You will provide line management, motivate and inspire a team of Advisors to enable them thrive in their role. What you’ll need: Resilience and a highly innovative and motivated approach to support service delivery, recent experience of providing student support in a relevant setting. You will need up to date knowledge of student support and development frameworks and resources. You will also have experience of meeting with parents and the issues facing young people with barriers to their learning and progression.
