Part- Time EHCP Coordinator – Further Educational Establishment
Location: Winchester
Contract Type: Part-time (Mon-Wed) until Christmas
Pay: £82 – £95 per day
Start Date: October 2025 – December 2025 but for the right candidate would continue indefinitely.

We’re looking for a committed professional to join our outstanding team at a respected further education college near Winchester. This part-time role (Monday to Wednesday) offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a setting known for its excellence and inclusive ethos.
Responsibilities
* Support a caseload of students with additional learning needs, with or without EHCPs
* Lead transition planning by liaising with schools, SENCOs, students, and families
* Coordinate site visits, interviews, and orientation activities
* Assess and apply for exam access arrangements and risk assessments
* Develop and review bespoke support plans and crisis management strategies
* Collaborate with Careers and teaching teams to support work experience and progression
* Provide in-class support, note-taking, personal care, and mobility assistance when needed
* Chair EHCP reviews and ensure documentation meets statutory requirements
* Maintain strong communication with families, staff, and external professionals
* Promote safeguarding, equality, and inclusive practice across the College
Qualifications / Experience
* Experience working with EHCPs and supporting students with additional needs
* A proactive, compassionate approach to individualised support
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Confidence in leading meetings, writing reports, and setting SMART targets
* A collaborative mindset and commitment to professional development
