We are currently recruiting a Business Unit Director to manage the Specialist Vehicles Division. As SV Director you will be responsible to lead the Specialist Vehicles Business Unit with full accountability for strategic direction, commercial performance, and operational excellence. This role will drive profitable growth through a robust sales strategy, customer-centric service delivery, and continuous improvement in operational efficiency. The Director will be a key contributor to the UK leadership team, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and fostering a high-performance culture. Responsibilities include: Define and execute a long-term strategic plan for the SV Business Unit that aligns with national objectives and market opportunities. Lead the development and implementation of sales strategies to drive revenue growth, market share, and customer retention. Collaborate with the Sales Leadership Team to balance volume, margin, and pricing strategies across customer segments and equipment categories. Own and manage the SV Business Unit P&L, ensuring delivery of revenue, margin, and OCF targets. Monitor and control all cost centres including headcount, fleet, engineering, transport, and property to ensure budget adherence and cost efficiency. Build and lead a high performing, engaged team through effective recruitment, development, and performance management. Set and uphold standards of ethics, behaviour, and professionalism across the business unit. Champion customer satisfaction and drive improvements in Net Promoter Score (NPS). Promote the SV brand as the preferred powered access partner in the UK market. Ensure compliance with all internal policies, QHSE standards, and legal requirements. Promote a proactive safety culture and lead by example in all health and safety matters.
