THE ROLE & TEAM
This is an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join our growing Corporate team, with a strong focus on the healthcare sector. The role has been created due to growth and offers the chance to work closely with a Partner and Legal Director on a broad range of corporate healthcare transactions.
The role is hands‑on and will give you early exposure to live deals and day‑to‑day transactional work, making it ideal for someone ambitious, curious, and keen to build a long‑term career within corporate law and the healthcare sector. You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team, advising healthcare clients across a wide range of matters.
A significant proportion of the work will be healthcare-focused, and over time you’ll be supported to take on increasing responsibility as your experience develops.
This role will be based out of our Leeds office, with some support provided to colleagues in our Liverpool and Manchester offices as required. We offer hybrid working, with an expectation that you’ll be in the office at least three days per week, allowing you to learn alongside colleagues and fully engage with the team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporting the Partner, Legal Director, and wider team on corporate healthcare transactions
Assisting with day‑to‑day deal activity, including drafting documents and managing transaction processes
Providing transactional support from instruction through to completion
Supporting the progression and running of matters as your experience grows, with appropriate supervision
Drafting correspondence and legal documents relevant to healthcare deals
Managing multiple tasks across a number of matters at any one time
Undertaking legal and commercial research to support client work
Assisting with document management, filing, bundling, and system updates
Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Corporate team
Contributing to a high level of client service and internal team support
