Qualification Scotland is Scotland’s national awarding and accreditation body. We oversee thousands of qualifications that are available in schools, colleges and workplaces, not just in this country, but around the world.
We are looking for a Product Analyst to work within the Business Systems Directorate in our Service Delivery team.
As a product analyst, you will ensure the overall operational service delivery of Qualification Scotland’s application environments are in line with requirements. To do this, you must be able to demonstrate experience in the following specific duties:
1. Managing the service delivery and security aspects of application environments to ensure they are operating efficiently and according to service level agreements.
2. Working in a collaborative manner to co-ordinate, plan, implement, monitor, and control processes, procedures, and resources to ensure the optimal performance of the team.
3. Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders and engaging with them to ensure service delivery.
You must also have the following skills and experience
4. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff at a variety of levels, both internally and externally.
5. A minimum of 2 years applications administration experience.
6. Experience with Microsoft Exchange Online / Exchange Server.
7. Proven experience in application security principles and administration.
8. Experience of Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) and on-premises Active Directory.
9. Knowledge of the development lifecycle and strong user administration knowledge.
10. Knowledge and understanding of service-oriented architecture and relevant software products.
11. ITIL knowledge and experience.
Desirable Skills
12. Knowledge or experience in Microsoft Fabric.
13. Knowledge or experience in Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
Applicants, as a minimum, should be educated to SCQF Level 8 (HND level or equivalent preferred in an IT related discipline) and/or be able to demonstrate direct relevant experience for this role.
