Driver Hire Inverness is currently recruiting a class 2 HGV Driver for ongoing work with the offer of a permanent job offered to the right person. You will be delivering chilled and ambient products to stores within the Highland area, this is a physical role and will involve hand balling. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers who are looking for full time work or those looking for early work patterns to suit their lifestyle.
🔧 What’s on Offer:
1. Monday to Friday
2. 05:00 AM start time
3. 40 – 45 hrs per week
4. £15.84 ph – PAYE
5. Temp to perm
6. Monthly bonus available after probation period.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
7. Safe and timely delivery of goods
8. Loading and unloading using cages or trollies
9. Working with a Drivers mate daily
10. Manual handling of products
11. Completing delivery paperwork or using handheld devices
12. Vehicle checks before and after shifts
13. Maintaining a professional and courteous manner
📋 Requirements:
14. Valid UK Class 2 (Cat C) Licence
15. Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
16. Maximum of 6 penalty points (No DR, IN or TT codes)
17. Good communication and customer service skills
