The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing within the professional services industry. This role requires strong organisational skills and attention to detail to support the accounting and finance department effectively.

Description
* Manage a portfolio of approximately 50-60 payroll clients
* Using Sage 50 (experience is not essential)
* Process weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time
* Complete pension submissions and CIS returns
* Post payroll journals where required
* Support clients with holiday pay recording and statutory calculations (e.g. SMP, redundancy, SSP)
* Ensure all payroll reports and submissions are completed within deadlines
* Keep up to date with payroll legislation (e.g. NMW, SMP, SSP)
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact
Profile
* Proven work experience as a payroll professional
* Strong understanding of payroll processes and requirements
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
* Experience in completing CIS returns
Job Offer
* £30,000 to £32,000 per annum (full-time equivalent)
