Overview
Salary up to £37,000 plus 5% additional for outer London fringe
We are currently recruiting a Community based public health nurse who will enhance the service we deliver to both children, adults and families.
Responsibilities
* Plan, develop and implement programmes with a wide range of health concerns; obtain consent; refer children and young people to other departments/services as required; work integral to the wider MDT team; act as an advocate to children; identify, document and address any concerns in line with the varying codes of conduct; plan, prepare and execute interventions under safeguarding; attend annual adult and children’s safeguarding training and participate in supervision.
* Work autonomously and also as part of a wider MDT team which has been put in place to enhance the services offered to the wider patient population.
Qualifications
* A registered nurse with a public health qualification or have worked within the community
* You will be able to evidence ongoing CPD
* Have child protection at a level 3
* Advantageous to have a prescribing cert
* Knowledge of NHS policies within children’s services and Public health
* NB: we will consider a Midwife Public health nurse or a dual qualified nurse who has worked within health visiting capacity
