Are you a resilient, compassionate, and experienced Teaching Assistant ready to make a real difference in the lives of young people who need it most? We’re looking for a confident TA to support pupils in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) – a setting that supports learners who may struggle in mainstream education due to behavioural, emotional, or social needs.

What We’re Looking For:
* A confident and experienced TA with a background in behaviour support, SEN, or alternative provision.
* Someone who can build positive, trusting relationships with pupils who may display challenging behaviour.
* A calm, consistent presence who can de-escalate situations and support emotional regulation.
* A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A driver with access to a car is highly desirable due to the nature of the placements.

Your Role Will Include:
* Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups, both in and out of the classroom.
* Working closely with teaching staff and behaviour specialists to implement support strategies.
* Helping pupils re-engage with learning in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.
* Promoting emotional wellbeing, resilience, and positive behaviour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
