HGV Class 2 Steel Driver - TelfordPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Steel Driver to join our well-established client based in Telford, Shropshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and genuine opportunities to grow and progress.This position would be ideal for an applicant looking for a role as a LGV Class 2 Driver, Truck Driver or Category C Driver.Shifts:• Monday to Friday• Start times: 0500-0700amRates of Pay:• £14.00 per hourBenefits:Your benefits as a HGV Class 2 Steel Driver will be:• Excellent hourly rates• Weekly pay• Immediate starts• Employee well-being programmeDay-to-Day Duties:Your duties as a HGV Class 2 Steel Driver are:• Operating and driving Category C vehicles safely and efficiently• Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections• Ensuring all loads are loaded and secured correctly• Adhering to traffic laws and regulations• Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management• Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo as requiredEssential Skills:The skills required as a HGV Class 2 Steel Driver are:• Valid UK Category C Driving Licence• Minimum of twelve month's experience driving Category C vehicles• Valid UK Driver CPC card and Digital Tachograph card• No more than six penalty points for minor offences and no major endorsement codes• Good level of spoken and written English• Punctual with excellent time-keeping• Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations• Effective communication skills• Previous experience working in the steel industryDesirable Experience:• Previous experience driving commercial vehicles• Previous multi-drop delivery experienceTraining:• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughoutContact: If you are ready to take on this opportunity as a HGV Class 2 Steel Driver, please apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.TPBN1_UKTJ
