Job Description Sales Administrative Assistant £28,000 per annum | Full-time | 8:00am – 5:00pm Location: Northampton An established manufacturing business is expanding and looking to welcome a Sales Administrative Assistant to its busy Northampton office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a positive, organised, and professional individual who enjoys variety in their role and thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. You’ll be the friendly face of the business while providing vital administrative support to the sales team. Duties include: Reception & Front Desk: -Being the first point of contact for visitors, delivering a warm and professional welcome -Answering and directing phone calls and emails efficiently -Managing visitor sign-in, issuing badges, and offering refreshments -Keeping the reception area tidy, organised, and welcoming Sales & Office Administration: -Providing day-to-day administrative support to the sales team -Processing and maintaining sales invoices -Handling incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries -Preparing correspondence, reports, and documents -Data entry and maintaining accurate, well-organised records -Managing filing systems to keep everything easy to find -Supporting order processing, delivery notes, pallet notes, and booking deliveries -Assisting with office supplies ordering, meetings, and company events What We’re Looking For: -Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role -Experience using Sage (advantageous but not essential) -Confident with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) -Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask -Excellent written and verbal communication -Professional, friendly, and approachable manner Key Skills: -Customer-focused mindset -High attention to detail -Strong interpersonal skills -Ability to stay calm and efficient when juggling multiple tasks Interested?
