Quality Assurance Inspector

Responsibilities
* Carrying out Goods‑In inspections to check incoming materials against engineering drawings, specifications and certification requirements.
* Supporting non‑conformance investigations and preparing Non‑Conformance Reports (NCR) where required.
* Completing routine quality inspections throughout production, manufacturing and assembly areas.
* Producing certification packs and quality documentation for finished products.
* Managing calibration activities for measuring equipment, including in‑house calibration and coordination of external service providers.
* Supporting continuous improvement activities, quality audits, 5S initiatives and process improvement projects.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector, QA Inspector, Quality Inspector, Quality Technician, Inspection Technician, Goods‑In Inspector, Production Inspector, Manufacturing Inspector or similar quality‑focused role within engineering or manufacturing.
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and confidently use inspection equipment including vernier callipers, micrometres, height gauges, surface plates and gauges.
* Experience of calibration management, quality documentation and Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Outlook.
* Knowledge of ISO quality standards, experience of SAP, ERP systems, CMM, Shadowgraph and/or hydraulic products would be advantageous but not essential.
