The Role
As an Applications Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting both the sales process and customer projects, working closely with clients to deliver tailored motion control solutions.
This is a flexible, hybrid role:
- Typically 2–3 days per week in the office (Cannock)- Remaining time spent working from home and visiting customers
Key Responsibilities
* Support the sales team with pre-sales demonstrations and technical presentations
* Provide post-sales support via telephone and on-site visits
* Understand customer machine concepts and application requirements
* Work with and support the range of servo drive electronics
* Assist with PLC and motion controller integration
* Support fieldbus communication systems including PROFINET and EtherCAT
Ideal Experience
* Experience working with servo motors and drive systems
* Strong understanding of motion control and automation applications
* Knowledge of fieldbus systems (PROFINET, EtherCAT desirable)
* Ability to engage with customers and provide technical solutions
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

Salary
- They're looking to pay between £50 – 60k as a basic salary depending on experience. The role can also come with a company car / car allowance
