Job Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Custody Support Worker to join our CFO Evolution team.
You'll be required to carry out tasks for a caseload of participants in a correctional setting, starting with the first engagement and evaluation.
Participants will receive motivational support and guidance to help them stay engaged throughout their sentence. You will provide both group work and one-on-one interventions to help participants overcome obstacles and reintegrate into their communities, including facilitating efficient pre-release preparations for seamless community integration.
Our successful candidate will ideally have experience in probation/social care or within the criminal justice sector. However, we value confidence and the ability to work with diverse backgrounds and circumstances, coaching and mentoring effectively.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £24,650 - £29,000 per annum (dependent on experience) along with benefits:

Key Responsibilities
Meet individual and team performance targets in line with contractual requirements.
Collaborate with peer mentors and/or mentors to manage your caseload effectively and connect participants with resources for housing, substance use, physical and mental health.
Contribute to a learning environment that enables colleagues to develop skills and share best practices.
Ensure effective case management and risk coordination, focusing on safeguarding adults and children, including timely notification of concerns and adherence to policies and procedures.
Ensure all contractual targets are met.

Skills and Experience
IAG Level 3 - desirable
Experience managing a caseload of participants - desirable
Knowledge of electronic data management and experience in target-driven environments
Excellent communication skills, able to relate to people at all levels
Ability to motivate and sustain engagement of individuals
