Your new role
As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a key role in overseeing corporate tax accounting and reporting across the UK and Europe. Sitting within the European Finance team and reporting to the Taxpliance Lead, you’ll take ownership of core corporate taxpliance activities, quarterly reporting and advisory support to internal stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of tax matters while driving process improvements and mentoring junior team members. Responsibilities include advising stakeholders on tax implications to support business planning, managing UK corporation tax compliance and quarterly reporting, liaising with tax authorities, auditors and external advisers. You will also monitor legislative changes andmunicating impacts, support direct tax matters across Europe, enhancing tax processes and systems, assist with indirect and employment tax queries and coach team members.
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll bring strong technical expertise, excellent attention to detail and the ability to build trusted relationships across the business. Your proactive approach and ability to prioritise will ensure you excel in this fast ‑ paced and varied role.
Essential skills and experience:
1. ATT or CTA qualified
2. Qualified Accountant (preferably ACCA or equivalent)
3. Corporate tax experience from Big 4 or an in-house tax team
4. Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation
