About the Role:
Paxton Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction company based in the North of Scotland, with projects spanning the entire country. We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join their team, working on a range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects. This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to travel to various sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting out and surveying works in accordance with project specifications.
* Working with GPS, Total Stations, and AutoCAD to ensure accurate measurements.
* Assisting in the preparation and review of technical drawings and site reports.
* Ensuring all works comply with design and safety standards.
* Managing subcontractors and liaising with clients and project managers.
* Conducting quality control checks and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
* Supporting the site team with problem-solving and technical advice.
* Ensuring all health, safety, and environmental regulations are followed.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Engineer in civil engineering or construction.
* Proficiency in GPS, Total Stations, and CAD software.
* Strong understanding of construction processes, setting out, and surveying techniques.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Full UK driving license (essential).
* CSCS card (desirable).
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamworking skills.
* Willingness to travel across Scotland for projects.
