We are recruiting for a Project Manager for a leading FM company. The role is site based in Edinburgh to work on Small works projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage a large team of multi-skilled engineers.
2. Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on gas systems, small installation projects, servicing, and repairs.
3. Provide technical support and guidance to engineers in the field.
4. Coordinate between the administration team, management, and regional engineering teams to disseminate information.
5. Monitor engineers and promote best practices in health and safety, engineering, and customer care.
6. Achieve health & safety performance targets.
7. Meet work standards targets.
8. Ensure profit after controllable expenses (PACE).
9. Conform to core processes and workflows.
10. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for regional team's key technical competencies.
11. Maintain a professional image and ensure excellent customer service.
12. Liaise with client staff to determine requirements and promote ongoing improvement works and projects.
13. Commit to personal development and lifelong learning to maintain technical skills.
Qualifications:
* Technically qualified to at least City & Guilds level/UK Level 3 NVQ in relevant electrical disciplines or equivalent experience.
* Relevant H&S qualification.
* GCSE or 'O' Level passes in Math and English or recognized equivalents.
* Ability to interface effectively with people at all levels, including customer staff.
* Experience and knowledge of working within the Industrial and Commercial sectors.
* Experience and knowledge of HVAC systems.
* Ability to read and understand schematic and wiring diagrams.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
