Location: Singlewell Depot What you'll be doing As a Fitter, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving our fleet of specialist rail vehicles. Your Responsibilities Will Include Performing maintenance on MPVs, RRVs, Stramm units, and modules in line with technical publications. Managing and maintaining accurate documentation and records. Diagnosing and repairing faults across mechanical and/or electrical systems. Producing clear verbal and written reports on faults, repairs, maintenance activities, and any incidents. Collaborating with your team to develop initiatives that enhance quality, productivity, reliability, and availability of our fleet. Driving road vehicles as required to support operations. Who we're looking for Skills, Experience & Qualifications We’re looking for someone who brings: A recognised engineering apprenticeship. Strong resource management and interpersonal skills. The ability to meet and maintain the required medical standards for the role. Sound knowledge of health & safety legislation, risk management, and COSHH awareness. Experience with PPPCs as required. Familiarity with stores processes and inventory management.
