Job Description
Organon is recruiting for the position of Capital Project Team Lead to join our world class manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland.
The site is at an exciting point in its history, with a large amount of capital investment to support the ongoing running of the business, including renewing production assets and supporting new product introductions.
In this role you will manage and develop a team of capital project practitioners to deliver a portfolio of projects, ensuring delivery according to key performance indicators, including cost, schedule, safety, and compliance.
This is a key site role and will be part of the Engineering Leadership Team.
Role Responsibilities:
* Lead the programme management of a varied portfolio of capital projects across a large pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, across the full project lifecycle from initiation to post-project evaluation
* Oversee capital projects related to the technologies used in the production of oral solid-dose products, including but not limited to bulk processing, ancillary processes, utilities and infrastructure
* Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget according to contracted targets
* Oversee the Long Range Capital Plan, including financial planning & cost control
* Oversee capital project funding processes
* Oversee the engineering PMO function, including resource planning and portfolio governance
* Work with site HSE and internal stakeholders to ensure solutions meet relevant regulatory and compliance requirements
* Identify and develop OEM and Engineering partners to support the delivery of the portfolio
* Work with key stakeholders across the business to develop project execution plans that are fully scoped with clear success criteria
* Contribute to the development of Engineering processes and systems
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
* Degree level engineering qualification or similar relevant experience
* Strong leadership, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
* Experienced team manager (> 8 people), including developing an organisation to meet business and individual goals
* Experience of managing a project portfolio within a complex environment with multiple projects running at any one time
* Has successfully led & delivered multiple major capital projects within a GMP environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical sector or associated regulated industries
