A specialist Law Firm in Manchester City Centre are hiring for a Legal Cashier/Practice Assistant.
This pivotal role involves supporting the team with all aspects of daily legal cashiering and practice administration. The ideal candidate will have prior experience within Legal Cashiering/Finance/Accounts work as well as Practice Management Administration.
Responsibilities:
Day to day cashiering and processing transactions
Client and office account
Allocation of payments
Monitoring emails and workflow management
Checking payments and monitoring charges
Processing bills
Assisting with the day to day operations within the firm
Working within compliance and solicitors accounts rules
Assist with practice administration and preparing for audits
Assisting with filing and legal administration
General office duties
Requirements:
Prior Legal Cashier experience
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Word, Excel and finance systems
Experienced in legal/practice administration
The Legal Cashier role is a part time position working in central Manchester 3 days per week. Salary negotiable depending on experience.
