Your Impact
Lead the engineering efforts at Lions Prep's food manufacturing facility. Ensure equipment reliability, project efficiency, and safety compliance. Key performance metrics will be regularly evaluated.
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Maintenance:
Oversee maintenance and repair of production equipment.
Implement maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability.
Ensure equipment safety and regulatory compliance.
Capital Projects:
Plan and lead capital projects for facility improvements.
Ensure projects are on time, within budget, and meet safety standards.
Health and Safety:
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards including OSHA and BRC.
Implement safety policies and training for employees.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify and lead process and equipment improvements.
Stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments for aligned objectives.
Understand customer needs with sales and marketing teams.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records related to equipment, safety, and compliance.
About You
* A Qualified Engineer with substantial experience in mechanical, and electrical engineering within the food manufacturing ideally
* Profound understanding of and experience with industrial food manufacturing machinery and control systems including PLC
* Proven track record of troubleshooting and maintaining electrical and instrumentation systems in a high-volume production setting.
* Driven, with the capacity to work autonomously and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Availability for overtime and on-call support as needed to meet operational demands.
