Within your role you will assist children and young people in achieving their personal outcomes by meeting each child/young person’s emotional, social, behavioural, health and developmental needs during their placement, in a way that ensures their dignity and promotes independence.
We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Residential Care Worker, who will put our children and young people at the centre of everything they do.
In this very important and rewarding role, you will provide all aspects of care, on an individual and group basis, including preparing young people for independence.
As a residential worker, in our care support team, you will be involved in helping to implement individual care plans, and undertake household duties, as well as some individual tasks and social support in order to enable the children and young people in our care to flourish and develop more independently.
We are seeking a team player, who can demonstrate a commitment to and experience of working with young people. You should also be able to relate well to children and their families as well as other professionals in the field.
