About Our Client
A rare opportunity to join a fast growing SME offering the opportunity to progress and become a Qualified Accountant. Full study package will be provided, alongside all of the necessary training and development.
The ideal candidate will have some exposure to working in a finance team, but now looking to amplify this by working directly for the Head of Finance in an exciting industry.
Job Description
* Assist with maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers.
* Process invoices, payments, and expense claims efficiently.
* Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
* Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
* Collaborate with other teams across the organisation.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable processes effectively.
* Provide administrative support to ensure smooth financial operations.
* Contribute to process improvements within the financial systems.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Graduate Accounts Assistant should have:
* Some knowledge of working in a similar role - Highly Beneficial
* A relevant numerate degree, OR, studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA - Essential
* Strong numerical and analytical skills - Essential
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities - Essential
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel - Essential
* Knowledge of working in an SME environment - Highly Beneficial
* A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and process improvement - Essential
