Job Specification
As a Gas Breakdown and Servicing Engineer you will play a critical role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional boiler services. Your responsibilities include:
* Diagnosing and repairing boiler breakdowns efficiently across our full coverage area.
* Completing remedial work on existing installations to uphold quality standards.
* Providing yearly boiler servicing for our clients.
* Applying electrical knowledge: fault‑finding on 230 V controls, wiring heating systems from scratch and working with smart systems such as Hive.
* Effectively diagnosing and resolving system circulation issues.
* Replacing 2/3 port valves, pumps and occasionally TRVs, preferring system bungs or depressurisation over full drain downs where appropriate.
* Delivering excellent customer service and ensuring satisfaction at every interaction.
* Driving extensively between appointments, with route support provided by our logistics team.
* Upselling additional services and works to customers with commission opportunities.

What We Need From You
* A valid and up‑to‑date Gas Safe registration card.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience handling boiler breakdowns.
* A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
* Punctuality, strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
* Exceptional communication skills, a professional appearance, self‑motivation and a positive attitude.
