One Stop Pharmacy is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care through tailored support in the Clinical Homecare and Outpatient dispensing sectors and as such, wishes to invest in additional resource to our business development function to maximise our reach in these markets.
Role Description
We’re seeking a full time experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at One Stop Pharmacy. You will work directly with the Leadership Team to deliver the key elements of this role, namely;
Key Responsibilities
* Be a visible leader with the accountability for delivering incremental growth in the relevant target markets.
* Engage key partners and customers, including NHS and Pharmaceutical manufacturers to build and convert a pipeline of new opportunities, to differentiate our offering within the market and to ultimately drive growth in the clinical homecare and outpatient market.
* Identifying and securing new business opportunities in the Clinical Homecare and Outpatient market.
* Building, managing and converting a robust pipeline of new business opportunities to ensure growth targets are met.
* Establishing and nurturing long-term, trusted relationships with key customers i.e. Pharmaceutical manufacturers and NHS organisations i.e. NHS Trusts and ICBs.
* Delivering agreed sales metrics, including patient volume, service income, and customer satisfactions / NPS targets.
* Developing and executing annual sales plans, including account plans and marketing campaigns.
* Identifying and responding to tender opportunities with support from the Bids & Tenders team.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
* Preparing strategic and tactical plans to convert leads into measurable business growth.
* Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
* Collaborating with operational, and finance colleagues to deliver and improve services, ensuring adequate staffing, IT systems, and processes for new and existing clients.
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory standards, including CQC, GDP, NMC, GPHC, and ICO guidelines.
Knowledge / Skills
* Proven experience in customer account management and NHS engagement, ideally managing complex clinical or logistical services.
* Experience in selling services across the Clinical Homecare or Outpatient Dispensing markets.
* Previous experience working with NHS structures, trusts, or ICBs is highly desirable.
* Solid business development and sales revenue generation experience within healthcare.
* Strong finance and budget management skills, including sales forecasting.
* Excellent leadership and people development skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
* Highly developed interpersonal, advocacy and communication skills to be able to work effectively with individuals and a range of stakeholders.
* Strong planning and organisational abilities, able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
* Intellectual ability to solve complex real work practical challenges.
* Strong presentational skills.
* Enthusiasm, energy and resilience to navigate a complex and uncertain environment.
* Ability to provide challenge organisational performance to achieve excellence.
* Ability to simplify and explain complex issues to a range of audiences.

* A business management qualification is preferred but not essential.

Additional Information
* Hybrid role with occasional but essential travel expected to all office locations
