A well-established, growing company operating nationwide is seeking a HVAC Service Engineer - an opportunity for internal promotion for the right candidate.
We are looking for a highly experienced service engineer who has extensive knowledge of maintenance and reactive fault finding, working on refrigeration and air conditioning systems such as freezers, chillers, VRF/VRV, and split systems for our blue-chip commercial clients such as NHS, universities, hospitality, restaurant outlets, hotels, commercial offices, and leisure facilities.
* Competent in leading a team
* Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
* Commissioning VRF, VRV, and Split systems (preferable)
* Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance on HVAC equipment for our clients
* NVQ Level 2 Refrigeration / Air Conditioning (preferable)
Required Qualifications / Experience:
* FGAS or equivalent
* IPAF & PASMA Tickets (Desirable)
* Full Driver's Licence
* Valid CSCS card
The Ideal Candidate
A highly experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning engineer, with a minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, you will need to be F-Gas/EN 378 compliant.
A high level of interpersonal skills - good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write reports.
High-quality workmanship and pride in work are a MUST.
You will be confident in your own ability.
You will be flexible to assist with call-out rota, and if required, out of normal working hours service (call-out 1 in 7).
You will be flexible and open to work on all types of mechanical systems where required.
Strong problem-solving skills, with a "can do" attitude.
Ideally, you will have good electrical competence including the ability to read wiring schematics and test control circuits.
Full Driving Licence.
