About the Candidate
The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Partner and play a central role in helping him operate effectively across legal work, leadership, business development and wider firm growth. This is a trusted role for someone highly organised, proactive, polished and commercially aware.
You will be comfortable operating at pace, handling confidential matters with discretion and helping create structure around a fast-moving founder-led business.
Role Responsibilities
* Managing the Managing Partner’s diary, meetings and priorities
* Acting as a gatekeeper and point of coordination for internal and external communications
* Supporting with inbox management, follow-ups and correspondence
* Preparing meeting agendas, notes and action lists
* Assisting with travel arrangements and logistics
* Helping coordinate business development activity, speaking opportunities, networking events and client meetings
* Supporting project management across strategic initiatives and operational priorities
* Liaising with internal team members, clients, suppliers and advisers
* Assisting with presentations, reports, proposals and general executive administration
* Supporting with occasional personal admin where appropriate to enable effective time management
* Helping organise team events, leadership meetings and firm initiatives
Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or senior administrator
* Exceptional organisational and diary management skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* High level of discretion and professionalism
* Able to anticipate needs and solve problems independently
* Calm under pressure and able to manage competing priorities
* A positive, energetic and proactive attitude
