M&E Manager – Healthcare Project
Location: Oxford
Contract: 6 Months (Initial)
Rate: £350 per day (Outside IR35)
Start: End of May
The Role
You will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical and electrical installation works on site, working closely with the main contractor, subcontractors and client teams to ensure delivery in line with programme, quality and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate M&E works across the project lifecycle
* Oversee mechanical installation activities, with a strong focus on HVAC systems
* Interface with subcontractors, designers and client representatives
* Ensure works comply with healthcare standards and site safety requirements
* Monitor progress, quality and installation standards on site
About You
* Proven experience working on hospital builds or similar healthcare environments
* Mechanical background preferred, with strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, BMS
* Hands‑on experience with AHU (Air Handling Unit) installation is highly advantageous
* Strong communication and coordination skills
* Able to operate effectively in a live or sensitive healthcare environment
