SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Leeds, ls7 Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £85 - £100 Per day Job Duties: Provide support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for pupils with SEN Work closely with teachers to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment Help students with SEN to develop their social and communication skills Provide one-to-one support to children as required Required Qualifications: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths Relevant experience working with individuals with SEN Understanding of safeguarding procedures Education: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Experience: Previous experience working in a school or educational setting Experience supporting students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of different learning needs and strategies to support pupils with SEN Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: First Aid training Mental Health First Aid qualification Working Conditions: Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday Temporary position with the possibility of extension Supportive and collaborative work environment All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
