Main duties of the job
* Deliver high quality MRI services in line with clinical protocols, safety standards and best practice
* Provide cross cover in General Xray and Ultrasound when required to support service demand
* Produce accurate, high quality diagnostic images to support timely clinical decision making
* Deliver a professional, compassionate and reassuring experience for every patient
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with IR(ME)R, MRI safety and governance standards
* Work collaboratively with consultants, clinicians and the wider multidisciplinary team
Job responsibilities
* HCPC registered Radiographer with no restrictions
* Confident working independently in MRI, with the ability to cover Xray and/or Ultrasound when required
* A flexible and adaptable team player who values cross sectional working
* Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on patient care and comfort
* A commitment to high clinical standards and ongoing professional development
* A compassionate, patient centred professional with strong communication skills

Shifts between 08:00 20:30, including participation in the general on‑call rota
