About the Role
GRAHAM is expanding and seeking a Gas Bias Multi-Skilled Engineer to join the North-West region, supporting the new contract with Northern Ireland Water. The role involves maintaining and enhancing client facilities, managing a range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks with a focus on gas systems to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Your Role
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will support our contract with Northern Ireland Water by performing gas-focused maintenance and related tasks across client facilities in the North-West region.
Key Responsibilities
* Reactive & Remedial Repairs: perform repairs and maintenance tasks with a focus on gas systems, minor building fabric repairs, and basic plumbing installations.
* Client Representation: maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with clients and addressing their needs efficiently.
* Documentation: complete and submit all required documentation accurately and on time, using both hard copy and electronic formats.
* Technical Problem-Solving: resolve complex technical issues related to gas systems and minor works, including sourcing parts and seeking technical support.
* Health & Safety: follow strict health and safety guidelines, including conducting risk assessments to ensure safe working practices.
* Out-of-Hours Cover: provide out-of-hours support on a rota basis to ensure continuous service availability.

About You
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Gas Bias Multi-Skilled Engineer who is dedicated to delivering high-quality service and maintaining excellent safety and efficiency standards.
Essential Criteria
* NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in a relevant field.
* Gas Safe Registered.
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in building maintenance, with a strong focus on gas-related tasks.
* Current Full UK Driver’s License.
* Registered CSCS/CSR Card or equivalent skill card.
Desirable Criteria
* IOSH – Working Safely or a similar health and safety qualification.
* Mechanical qualifications such as Unvented Systems, Legionella Awareness, etc.
* Proficiency with PDAs and other IT tools.
* Asbestos awareness training.
* VESLP1 Gas storage vessel connections, controls & safety requirements of up to 0.1m3 single LPG gas supply
* VESLP2 Gas storage vessel connections, controls & safety requirements more than 0.1m3 multiple LPG gas supply
