Hunter & Hughes is seeking Project Managers across SFIA Levels 2-5 to support delivery within high‑assurance Defence, National Security, and Government environments.
Successful candidates will support the planning, coordination, governance, and delivery of complex programmes and projects across operational, technical, cyber, engineering, and capability‑focused workstreams.
Depending on experience and SFIA level, responsibilities may range from supporting project controls and coordination activities through to leading delivery teams, managing stakeholders, overseeing governance, and driving successful project outcomes within complex secure environments.
The roles require individuals who can operate effectively within structured delivery environments while maintaining focus on outcomes, risk management, collaboration, and delivery assurance.
Key responsibilities may include:
* Supporting or leading project delivery activities across multiple workstreams
* Managing schedules, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and actions
* Supporting governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement activities
* Coordinating delivery teams and facilitating effective communication
* Supporting financial tracking, forecasting, and resource management
* Contributing to Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches as appropriate
* Managing delivery priorities within operationally sensitive environments
* Supporting customer engagement and delivery assurance activities
* Operating effectively within secure, high‑assurance Government environments
* Ensuring delivery activities align with customer objectives and governance requirements
Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year’s project management experience, with opportunities available for individuals ranging from junior delivery support through to experienced Project Managers operating with significant autonomy and responsibility.
These roles align broadly to SFIA Levels 2-5, with responsibilities and expectations adjusted according to experience, capability, and customer requirements.
Current enhanced Developed Vetting (eDV) clearance is mandatory for all positions.
