Where will you be working?
M Group Highways. At M Group Highways, we're supporting the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK. We build more than roads and bridges — we're creating a better future and lasting social value for the communities we serve. You'll join our Civils projects team, delivering specialist civil engineering solutions for both private and public sectors across the UK, fostering strong relationships through a collaborative approach.
What will you be doing?
* Implementing, maintaining, and enhancing the Document Management System to align with processes and standards.
* Controlling all document movements—physical and digital—ensuring accuracy, proper formatting, and compliance with procedures.
* Establishing and updating document registers (client and internal), and producing reports as needed.
* Ensuring accurate distribution of approved documents and drawings to relevant stakeholders and maintaining organized archives.
* Collaborating with project teams, suppliers, and clients to streamline documentation processes, agree standards, and facilitate project handovers and close-outs.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in document control within project environments, delivering objectives.
* Proficiency in IT systems and software.
* Knowledge of quality assurance in document control processes.
* Familiarity with filing systems and distribution matrices.
* Understanding of electronic document and record management systems.
