This is an exciting time to join the Kinship Team within an Ofsted-rated Outstanding, Independent Fostering Agency—Together for Children Fostering Sunderland. Established in April 2017, we provide fostering and kinship care services for children and young people in Sunderland. Our innovative approach aims to deliver the best outcomes for children and families.
We seek a skilled, experienced non-qualified worker with a passion for supporting children and young people in Sunderland, particularly those subject to Special Guardianship Orders. Your main duties will include managing the duty service and providing support and advice to kinship carers and guardians to promote ongoing support for children and their families.
You will join an experienced, supportive team established in 2019, focused on services to kinship carers. We provide laptops and mobile phones for flexible working. Our career progression scheme is supported by a professional development plan. The role requires travel, a clean driving license, and access to a car.
