Job Description:
My Client is looking to appoint a Senior Structural Engineer to join an established team. You will be responsible for the following:
~ The preparation of reports, specifications, designs and drawings,
briefing documents and feasibility studies.
~ Assisting with and leading a variety of projects from inception through to completion and undertaking integrated 3D modelling and structural design.
~ You will have worked with all common materials including Steel, Timber, Masonry and Concrete.
~ You will be confident with liaising with other designers, including, architects and on-site engineers.
~ Proficient in the use of the following software packages; Robot, Tekla Structural Designer and Masterseries.
Person Specification:
You will possess at least 5yrs experience in the industry and be Chartered or nearing Chartership status.
You will possess in depth building construction knowledge, as well as a thorough understanding of the principles of Building Modelling Information (BIM)
You will have a hands-on approach to projects and possesses the experience to work on multiple projects simultaneously
The ability to work effectively and efficiently within a team
Good problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
