To carry out cleaning duties as allocated by the Manager / Owner
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
· The working pattern is Monday to Friday - Morning or Evening. 1 hour per day. Either 6am-7am or 6pm - 7pm. Approximately an extra half hour per day may be required .
· This post is regulated work within Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
· The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.
· Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check.
· This post has a minimum requirement of 2 reference which one must be your current or most recent employer.
· A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
· The successful candidate must comply with the companies polices and procedures .
MAJOR TASKS
· Undertake cleaning of toilets
· Undertake the cleaning of basins/bins / sinks
· Hoover and Mopping floors
· Wall washing, skirting boards and surrounding area of toilets and sinks where applicable
· Cleaning of carpeted areas
· Dusting, damp wiping, washing and polish application
Cleaning door handles and glass where applicable
