We have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our team at Gatwick IRC. Gatwick IRC, based in the heart of Gatwick, providing care to around 615 patients across two sites at Brook House and Tinsley House.
Within this role you will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide high quality care for patients. You will gain insight into Mental Health and Substance Misuse, and have access to a variety of training opportunities with the opportunity to work towards your RCGP Level 2 and other qualifications should you wish.

Hours
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 09:00-17:00
This is a part-time role working 24 hours per week.
Salary
You’ll receive an annual salary up to £130,000 per annum FTE, depending on experience.

What you'll be doing:
Our General Practitioners are extremely valued and are well respected members of the Prison Healthcare community, as a General Practitioner, your responsibilities will vary. You will
* Deliver first class healthcare to a diverse group of patients, and therefore as a General Practitioner at Practice Plus Group you get the opportunity to further develop your knowledge in areas you wouldn’t usually experience within a practice or even A&E environment.
* Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients' requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management.
* Provide a highly specialist resource to other members of the healthcare team at site, as well as the patients you work with having active involvement in clinical governance and effectiveness activities.

Requirements
* MBChB or MBBS Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List
* Evidence of engagement with annual appraisal
* Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice
* Evidence of continuing professional development
* Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications
