Our client is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their team based in Inverness. The successful candidate will be responsible for production of Management Accounts in line with deadlines. Duties include
Duties include:
* Production of Monthly Management Accounts and all related reports within agreed deadlines.
* Balance sheet reconciliations.
* Identifying and reporting/resolving variances.
* Support the training of staff including review of work.
* Maintain effective lines of communication are maintained.
* Provide commentary regarding Management Accounting issues.
* Maintain up to date knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
* Work closely in support of the Financial Controller, carrying out additional project accounting and reporting tasks.
Person Specification:
* Qualified or working towards a professional accounting qualification (qualified by experience also considered).
* Experience of management accounts preparation and reporting.
* Ability to identify and resolve variances and issues.
* Well organised and able to manage a busy and varied workload, working to meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent IT skills including financial software systems.
