Are you an enthusiastic and positive teacher in the Northampton area? Affinity Worforce Solutions are looking for a qualified teacher with an encouraging and supportive attitude to work at an SEN school with children and young adults with a mixture of abilities.
In this school, most of the students have autism and/or severe learning disabilities so the classes are mixed abilities and ages, therefore we need someone who can work with a range of students from the ages of three to eighteen. You will be expected to be able to support and encourage the children and young people to achieve their personalised goals.
This role will involve providing the whole curriculum to young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties and/or other Additional Needs.

SEND Teacher Responsibilities
* Planning each session of teaching, tutoring and mentoring
* Developing and improving the Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) for each individual pupil
* Adapting teaching and learning materials to accommodate for different learning styles and abilities.
* Creating a safe and inclusive environment for all students
* Supporting transitions between educational stages and settings
Required From You
* Valid Enhanced DBS
* SEMH Experience (desired)
* A positive and can-do attitude
* Collaborating with teachers, mentors and external professionals
* Right to Work in the UK
