Job Title: Assistant Manager Financial & Regulatory Reporting Contract Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract Function: Finance Location: Bristol or Edinburgh, Hybrid-working Salary: From £40550 excellent benefits Closing Date: 1 April 2026 How you’ll make a difference The Financial & Regulatory Reporting team are responsible for the delivery of external statutory reporting, and prudential regulatory returns, including maintaining a robust control framework over the returns, governance over key judgments and estimates and external audit liaison. This role will assist in the delivery of periodic regulatory returns in the Statutory Reporting team including FINREP and delivery of the annual report and accounts (ARA). The role holder will need to be able to understand the purpose and key requirements for the returns, execute procedures to prepare returns from data underlying data sources and operate robust reconciliation and analytical review controls to ensure accuracy and correct disclosure of items in the return. What you’ll bring: Strong planning & organisational skills to cope with competing demands and challenging deadlines. Experience in the preparation of financial control reports, identifying problems and ensuring resolution or escalation where appropriate. Ability to communicate clearly on technical financial and regulatory topics, and build relationships with stakeholders across the Bank. Strong data analysis skills. An awareness of risks and how to operate in a strong control environment. Good Excel knowledge including pivot table, vlookup, macros and complex formulas, with SAS experience an advantage.
